The mission of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is to prevent, deter, and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and misconduct in FDIC programs and operations; and to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness at the Agency.
