John Dries

John Dries is an experienced emergency manager currently employed by FEMA since July 2020, and serves as the president of 4 HOPE ANIMAL SANCTUARY, a 501c3 charity focused on rescuing dogs, since September 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Supervisory BESS at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Biomedical Technician at Zoetek Medical, and BMET training in the US Army. John Dries served as Supply NCO in the Army National Guard, responsible for the security and maintenance of valuable government equipment, and worked as an Operating Engineer with the International Union of Operating Engineers from May 2000 to July 2007. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Administration from Excelsior University and a Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management also from Excelsior University, along with biomedical technology training from the Medical Education & Training Campus.
