Zane Heather is an experienced program analyst and emergency management specialist with a focus on disaster preparedness and community development. Currently serving as the Program Analyst for the National Hurricane Program at FEMA, Zane leads project management efforts and supports various components within the Planning and Exercise Division. Previous roles include project lead for the Evacuation and Shelter in Place Technical Assistance at FEMA, Field & Program Coordinator for the Community Investments Program at Fundación CRUSA, and Community Economic Development Specialist with the Peace Corps. Zane holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business, a minor in International Business from Hendrix College, and recently completed the Emergence Program at the Naval Postgraduate School.
