Matthew Shultz possesses extensive experience in information security, currently serving as an InfoSec Specialist at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since July 2016. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at General Dynamics Information Technology from 2003 to July 2016, progressing through titles such as Senior Principal Security Analyst, Senior Program Manager, Program Manager, and Senior MTS in Systems. Earlier experience includes consulting and engineering roles at Creative Technology, Inc., Loral Federal Systems, IBM Federal Services, GTE Government Systems, and Contel Federal Systems. Academically, Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy Management from George Mason University, an Executive Fire Officer Program certification from the National Fire Academy, an AAS in Business Management from Northern Virginia Community College, and a certificate in Solid State Electronics from the Technical Electronics and Solid State Institute.
