Xu Liu began their work experience as a Data Analysis Assistant at Wake Forest University from February 2018 to March 2019. They then worked as a Data Scientist at First Republic Bank from September 2020 to July 2023, during which they developed a scalable product for automating the extraction of key information from municipal bonds. Xu Liu also served as a Data Science Intern at First Republic Bank from October 2019 to September 2020, where they demonstrated proficiency in data collection, distribution, and analysis using Python. Currently, Xu Liu holds the position of Associate Director in Data Science and Risk Analytics at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco since July 2023.
Xu Liu obtained a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of San Francisco from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, Xu Liu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Finance from Wake Forest University, studying from 2015 to 2019. In addition, Xu Liu attended Korea University during the summer of 2017 for a summer school program. Xu Liu also holds a certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP.
