Phuong Short

Phuong Short is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications and digital content management. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Communications and Supervisory Communications Specialist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency since November 2021, Phuong leads the Internal Communications team to support the Agency’s staff and mission. Prior experience includes roles at Freddie Mac from August 2012 to November 2021, where Phuong managed various communication channels for over 5,000 employees as both a Digital Design & Content Manager and an Internal Communications Senior. Earlier career roles encompassed corporate communications consulting with Aquent, managing a student newspaper at the University of Richmond, and contributing as an editorial staff aide at The Loudoun Times Mirror. Phuong holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Richmond.
