Sean Richards

Sean Richards, CPSM, CPIM, has extensive experience in demand planning and supplier management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Demand Planning at Federal Signal since September 2017, Sean leads the sales and operations planning process for a division with $180 million in annual revenue. Prior to this role, Sean held several positions at Federal Signal Corporation, including Supplier Development Manager, where management of $42 million in annual spending on top domestic and international suppliers was key. Sean also directed cross-functional teams in product line simplification initiatives and managed a product portfolio in the heavy-duty vehicles market. Earlier career roles included engineering positions focused on manufacturing and product design, as well as sales engineering and audio engineering roles in the music and advertising industries. Educational qualifications include an EMBA from Northern Illinois University and degrees in Electrical Engineering and Music Engineering Technology from the University of Illinois Chicago and University of Miami, respectively.
