Iyad Tarazi is the President and CEO of Federated Wireless. Prior to joining Federated Wireless, Iyad served as Board Director at CafeX Communications and ThruPoint. Iyad also spent nine years at Sprint, where they served as VP of Network Technology Development and Integration.
Iyad has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Iyad has a proven track record of leading large teams and complex projects. Under Iyad’s leadership, Sprint’s Network Vision LTE network became the first Small Cell and HetNet program in North America.
Iyad is a recognized expert in the field of wireless technology. Iyad has authored numerous papers and patents in the areas of wireless communications, networking, and IP voice enablement. Iyad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Iyad Tarazi has a Master of Science from Southern Methodist University in telecommunications systems management and financial analysis and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in telecommunications engineering.
