Karmo Uusmaa has extensive experience in motorsport and technical inspection, currently serving as a Technical Delegate at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) since October 2014, with a promotion to this role in the 2020 season after previously being an Assistant. Additionally, Karmo has been the Chief Scrutineer and Technical Observer for the Eesti Autospordi Liit since January 2013, engaging in voluntary work since April 2015, with availability contingent on the WRC calendar. Karmo also contributes as a volunteer Scrutineer at various autosport events since 2006. From October 2005 to January 2013, Karmo was the Head of the Technical Inspection Division at the Estonian Road Administration. Karmo holds a Bachelor's degree in Traffic Safety from Tallinn University.
