Grace Wickerson

Grace Wickerson is an accomplished professional in health equity and policy, currently serving as the Health Equity Policy Manager at the Federation of American Scientists since March 2022. With a strong academic background, Grace holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Nanoengineering from Rice University. Their experience includes leading initiatives that address systemic injustices, evidenced by founding Design for Equitable Systems and serving as Operations and Designer for the Emergency Design Collective during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Grace has held research positions, including a Research Fellow at the Center for Health Equity Transformation and Graduate Researcher at Northwestern University, focusing on impactful healthcare technologies. Leadership roles include President of the Student Association at Rice University and founder of Kickin' Violence, an organization empowering youth to combat violence through education and service.
