Catherine Maddux currently serves as a Senior Communications Specialist for the United States Courts since August 2024. Previous experience includes a role as Marketing & Corporate Communications Editor at the Federal Aviation Administration from March 2023 to June 2024 and as States Editor & Writer at AARP from November 2020 to November 2022. Catherine has also worked as a Consultant from August 2017 to 2020, focusing on writing, editing, and digital content creation. Prior to that, extensive tenure at Voice of America spanned from April 2002 to August 2017, where roles included Digital Reporter/Editor/Writer, Homepage Editor, and Supervisory Desk Editor/Reporter. Catherine's career began as a Producer at NPR from May 1996 to April 2002. Educationally, Catherine Maddux holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from The Catholic University of America, has completed a non-degree program in Shakespeare at the University of Cambridge, and has received hostile environment training through AKE Group.
