Pietro Bernasconi

R&d Mangaer at FEMTOprint SA

Pietro Bernasconi is an experienced R&D manager with a focus on ultra-fast laser material processing and micro-structuring at FEMTOprint SA since July 2018. Previously, Pietro served as a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission's committee SC 86B from January 2016 to December 2019, contributing to the field of fiber optic interconnecting devices. Pietro's role as Technical Sales Manager at Diamond SA involved providing technical customer support and working on specialty products between January 2013 and July 2018. Earlier experience at Bell Labs at Alcatel-Lucent from 1999 to 2012 included work on photonics integration, optical networking, and international R&D programs. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and Dipl. Phys. in Physics from ETH Zürich, attained in 1998 and 1994, respectively.
