Mike Knobler

Mike Knobler is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Partner in the Tax Group at Fenwick & West since March 2016, after previously holding the position of Associate in the same department. Prior experience includes practicing international tax as an Associate at Linklaters from September 2013 to March 2016, and serving as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Susan Braden at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims from August 2012 to August 2013. Additional legal experience includes a Summer Law Intern position in the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in July 2011 and a Summer Associate role at Irell & Manella LLP in May 2011. Before transitioning to law, Mike Knobler had a notable career in sports journalism, including roles as Sports Editor and Sports Reporter at The Clarion-Ledger, Deputy Sports Editor at the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and covering various sports events, including NHL games and college football. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from Yale Law School and an undergraduate degree in English from Harvard University.
