Daniel Vera

Daniel Vera is an accomplished professional in the field of Research and Development with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Cookies & Mainstream Chocolate R&D at Ferrero since January 2022, Daniel previously held the position of Head of Cookies R&D at Ferrara Candy Company from October 2019 to December 2021. Daniel's tenure at Ferrero also includes roles as Sr. R&D Product Technical Performance Manager for Nutella & Snacks and various positions at PepsiCo, where responsibilities centered on Tortilla Chips, Extrusion, and Snack innovations. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Agrifood, Food Science from the University of Nottingham, a Postgraduate Certificate in Dairy Business Management from Harper Adams University, and a BS in Food Science & Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, complemented by studies at Kansas State University.
