Al Basseri

Al Basseri is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Ferret since July 2023, Al oversees the development of a generative AI platform designed to provide real-time, unbiased intelligence. Since August 2018, Al has also been the CTO of FortressSecure, focusing on decentralized AI cybersecurity solutions for multi-cloud storage. Previous roles include CEO of Scalytics, Inc., and SVP of Field Engineering at DBM Cloud Systems, where Al contributed to innovative cloud resource management solutions. Al has held significant positions at Tegile Systems, Violin Memory, Western Digital, ASI Inc., Supergate, and Neonode, building a robust background in storage solutions and business development. Al holds a MS in Computer Science and Business from San Jose State University and studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
