Alberto Díaz Velasco

Alberto D. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security architecture and information security. Currently serving as a Senior Security Architect and Enterprise Architect at BASF since October 2021, Alberto previously held the role of Information Security Architect at Daimler AG from August 2019 to October 2021. Prior to that, Alberto worked as a Security Consultant and Security Architect at everis, focusing on secure software development and full-stack security development from July 2014 to August 2019. Alberto began a career in technology as a System Technician at Adeslas, where responsibilities included monitoring and managing various company systems and user permissions. Alberto holds a degree in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Information and Communication Technologies from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, along with a Master's thesis focused on Signal Processing and Computer Vision from KU Leuven.
