Katharina Unger

Visiting Lecturer at FH Joanneum

Katharina Unger is an influential figure in the fields of food innovation and sustainable management. Currently serving as a European Young Leader at Friends of Europe since 2023, Katharina has been the CEO and Founder of L I V I N farms since 2015, focusing on sustainable food production with offices in Hong Kong and Vienna. In addition to leadership roles, Katharina contributes as a Visiting Lecturer at FH Joanneum, imparting knowledge on food and agricultural innovations. As a public speaker, Katharina addresses diverse audiences on impactful topics. Other notable positions held include founding LIVIN Studio, serving on the board of AustrianStartups, and completing a Fulbright Scholarship in the United States. Katharina's academic background includes a Master's degree in Industrial Design from Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien.
