Olaf Poorter

Olaf Poorter has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as Manufacturing Owner and Manager Technology & Projects at Fibrant since January 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing Improve Plant activities and acting as Senior Project Manager within the R&T group. Prior to this role, Olaf held various positions at DSM Fiber Intermediates, including Senior Project Manager R&T and Project Manager R&T from May 2010 to December 2015, and previously worked as a Process Engineer at DSM Nanjing Chemical Company and DSM Research. Olaf's engineering career began at DSM Acrylonitrile and DSM Research in process and project engineering roles. Olaf holds an Ir degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Groningen, completed in 1995.
