John Hellewell has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. John started their career at Datamark in 1998 and worked there as a Software Engineer for a decade. In 2008, they joined ATA Services as a Software Engineer but left after a year to co-found Viebase Technologies in 2009. At Viebase Technologies, they served as a Co-Founder for seven years. In 2013, they joined AccessData as a Software Engineer, and later in 2015, they moved on to Fidelis Security, where they currently hold the position of Principal Software Engineer I.
John Hellewell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stevens Henager College, where they studied from 2000 to 2002.
