Syed Bokhari is a highly experienced engineering professional with expertise in signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Currently serving as the Lead Signal Integrity and EMC Specialist at Fidus Systems since 2002, Syed has successfully modeled composite PCBs, backplanes, and connectors up to 10 GHz, and designed backplanes for XAUI and 10G base KR applications, alongside performing signal integrity simulations. Prior to this, Syed worked at Cadence Design Systems from 1995 to 2002 as a Senior Member of Consulting Staff, where responsibilities included designing high-speed PCBs and backplanes, conducting simulations for various parameters, and advising design teams on numerous projects related to telecommunication systems. Syed holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Numerical Electromagnetics and Antennas from the Indian Institute of Science, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
