Ian Anindya Pratiknyo has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry. Ian Anindya started their career at Filtrona Indonesia in 2005, where they held various positions including Production Supervisor, Process Engineer, Maintenance & Engineering Asst. Manager, Maintenance & Engineering Manager, Production Manager, and Global Shape (Project) Manager. In 2013, they joined Essentra and took on roles such as Supply Chain Manager, Process and Engineering Manager, Production Manager - Porous Technology, Production Manager, Operations Manager, and Senior Manager Innovation Center. Currently, they serve as the Product Development Director at Filtrona since 2023. Throughout their career, Ian has gained expertise in operations management, innovation, product development, and supply chain.

Following the development of the first patented filter in 1924 by Boris Aivaz, Bunzl began to manufacture filters commercially in the early 1920s and the first dedicated facility was established in Jarrow, UK in 1948. Bunzl grew internationally through a series of acquisitions, which included Filtrona Corporation and the P.P. Payne tapes business, which launched the market-leading Rippatape solution in the 1950s. Filtrona became the adopted name of the successful fibres division, expanding into Asia in the 1970s and 1980s, and was then demerged from Bunzl in 2005. In 2013, the filters division changed its name to Essentra plc to reflect diversification into industrial components. In November 2022, the successful filters and tapes division was sold to new owner Centaury Management Limited.
