Valerie Croteau is a seasoned optometrist with extensive experience in providing comprehensive primary and medical eye care across multiple private practices. Since June 2017, Valerie has been serving at Filutowski Eye Institute, following previous roles at Bauman & Stoleru, M.D., P.C., from August 2014 to August 2016, and at Tescher Eye Center from July 2013 to July 2014. Valerie's educational background includes a residency in ocular disease from Braverman Eye Center (2012-2013), an externship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (2011-2012), a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University (2008-2012), and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida International University (2003-2008), complemented by a high school diploma from Western High School (1999-2002).

The Filutowski Eye Institute, formerly the Filutowski Cataract & LASIK Institute, is a general ophthalmology practice specializing in refractive and laser cataract surgeries. We have three locations - Lake Mary, Daytona Beach and Orlando. Our infrastructure, equipment, management and staff are assembled with great effort in order to enable an efficient patient care. This environment allows the physician to see more patients and concentrate on performing functions that can only be done by a physician.
