Francesco Micheletti

Francesco Micheletti has extensive work experience in procurement and management roles. Francesco is currently the Vice President of Procurement Digitalization & Group Vendors Management at FINCANTIERI since February 2022. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Subsidiaries Coordination and Purchasing Synergies at FINCANTIERI from May 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining FINCANTIERI, Francesco worked at SDA Bocconi as part of the Procurement Lab starting in July 2021. Francesco also served as the Head of Procurement Excellence at Maire Tecnimont from July 2015 to May 2020.

Francesco gained experience at i-Faber (Unicredit Group) where they held the position of Head of Category Management - Consultancy from April 2007 to June 2015. Prior to that, they worked at FIAMM Spa as the Group Purchasing Manager Electromechanicals from January 2006 to April 2007, and as the Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager for North and South America from October 2004 to January 2006.

Francesco'searly career includes positions at Pirelli, where they worked as a Senior Buyer for Utilities & Indirects from February 2001 to October 2004, and as a Controller from March 2000 to February 2001. Overall, Francesco Micheletti has a diverse background in procurement and has held various managerial positions.

Francesco Micheletti holds a Master's Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from SDA Bocconi, which they completed in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy from Università Bocconi between 1994 and 1999. Francesco also completed an International program for High Potential Managers at Talent Managers Review - Unimanagement - Unicredit Group in 2010-2011. Francesco has additional certifications including a Purchasing specialist degree from EIPM - The European Institute of Purchasing Management in 2004, and a Buyer course from Cegos España in 2003. Moreover, Francesco obtained an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in 2001.
