Michael Freedman

Michael Freedman is a Data Science Architect at Finch AI since January 2024. Previously, Michael served as a Computational Linguist at Ntrepid Corp from October 2017 to December 2023 and worked as a Data Scientist for the U.S. Government from June 2014 to September 2017. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Linguistics from Yale University, obtained in 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Linguistics from The Ohio State University, completed in 2007. Michael began a career in academia as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Yale University, where responsibilities included tutoring, developing class materials, and lecturing on cognitive subjects. Earlier roles as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University involved work in psycholinguistics and linguistic transcription for the Buckeye Speech Corpus.
