Shahid yusaf

Mr. Shahid Yusaf has a 30 year rich professional experience in 19 countries as development specialist and specializes in grassroots economic development, job creation, governance, institutional restructuring & reorganization, and public sector transformation. As a partner of a global consulting firm, he worked on various initiatives and designed many development programmes. In the Pakistani context, his firm has worked on over 100 public sector projects including being part of the team to design of US$ 1.7 Billion DREAMS project as well as US$ 230 Million Devolved Social Services Programme (one of the largest social services governance programme) and implementation of the TA for US$ 320 million Improving Access to financial services programme (largest financial inclusion programme). He also served as the head of governance team to design the governance framework for the National Commission for Human Development as a member of Presidents Task Force on Human development (PTFHD) in 2001. He served as the Honorary Investment Consular of Pakistan in Vancouver Canada for many years and has promoted trade and investment opportunism between Canada and Pakistan.

His private sector experience includes work with European Commission (EC) to develop new quality management Standards for Small and Medium size enterprise to conform to European Foundation for Quality Management.
