Sagar Ghimire

Sagar Ghimire has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Sagar is currently working at Finder as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from October 2020 to February 2023.

Before joining Finder, Sagar worked at Catalyst IT Limited as a Software Developer from April 2019 to October 2020. During their time there, they developed bespoke Moodle plugins for clients, including Australian universities and educational institutes. Sagar also led Moodle development projects, setting up and upgrading client's learning management systems, and implemented CI/CD practices. Sagar'sunit and behat tests contributed to improved delivery time by 20%.

Further back in their career, Sagar worked at Growcept as a Software Engineer from May 2017 to June 2018. There, they developed and customized WordPress themes for the marketplace and WordPress.org. Sagar also rebuilt e-commerce portals using WooCommerce and incorporated analytics tools to enhance sales.

Sagar's initial work experience was at Intellisoft Nepal Pvt. Ltd., where they worked as a Back End Engineer from March 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they developed and maintained software products, databases, and API endpoints for enterprise and government organizations. Sagar applied Agile scrum methodology and developed an office management system to automate internal tasks, improving employee management efficiency.

Throughout their career, Sagar has demonstrated strong technical skills and has actively contributed to the development and improvement of various software systems and projects.

Sagar Ghimire attended the Nepal College of Information Technology from 2011 to 2015. Sagar pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree with a specialization in Information Technology.
