Justin Taylor

Justin Taylor is a Senior Advisor, supporting FinDev Canada’s risk management and transaction due diligence in the areas of financial crime, business integrity, and governance.

Previously, he worked in private consulting helping small businesses develop their ESG strategies and implement sustainable and responsible business practices and, before that, led a team that conducted business integrity risk assessments at Export Development Canada. Justin brings an interdisciplinary approach to risk advisory, drawing on over 20 years of experience in credit risk, government and stakeholder relations, human rights, and strategy.

Justin holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Association of Governance, Risk & Compliance, and credentials in ESG disclosure, anti-briber and corruption, sanctions, and customer due diligence. He has Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s in Political Economy. He is passionate about behavioural economics, and, in his spare time, he volunteers to support 2SLGBTQI+ refugees and newcomers.
