Oleg Balashov is an experienced finance professional specializing in quantitative strategies and portfolio management. Currently, Oleg serves as the Head of Quant Strategies and Quantitative Portfolio Manager at Fineco Asset Management since 2018. Prior to this role, Oleg worked at Susquehanna International Group, LLP as a Quantitative Researcher from 2011 to 2018, and held the position of VP of Portfolio Construction at Pioneer Investments from 2008 to 2011. Oleg began their career as the Head of Research - FX at Lee Overlay Partners between 2003 and 2007. Oleg holds a PhD in Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University and an MSc in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
