Erhan Altun is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in supervisory and managerial roles at prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Supervisor at Eidgenössische Finanzmarktaufsicht FINMA since July 2017, Erhan oversees UBS' Group Chief Risk Office, Group Internal Audit, and Asset Management. Prior to this role, Erhan held multiple positions at UBS from November 2011 to June 2017, including Global STIR Business Manager and COO for Short Term Interest Rates Trading, where significant achievements included leading automated FX trade compression initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency in bond trading. Erhan began a career in finance as an intern at UBS and subsequently worked as a mathematics tutor in various educational institutions, holding a degree in Wirtschaftsmathematik from Ulm University and a certification in risk management from the Bank of England.
