Wuming Zhang

Wuming Zhang is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure. Currently serving as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect at the Bank for International Settlements since 2023, Wuming has also held roles as a FinOps Practitioner with the FinOps Foundation and Lead Cloud Architect at Helvetia Versicherungen Schweiz. Previous positions include Senior Cloud Architect at Swisscom, where a strong focus was placed on public cloud advocacy, as well as IT Operations Manager at Zmags and IT Architect at Schibsted Centralen AB, among others. Wuming's career spans over two decades, beginning with a consultancy role at the Stockholm Environment Institute following an MS in Computer Science from Uppsala University. Wuming is equipped with numerous certifications in Red Hat, VMware, and related technologies.
