Jason Whitney

Jason Whitney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture development and investor relations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Investor Networks at FINSYNC and a Partner at Start Something Ventures, Jason also provides advisory support to Flywheel Fund. Previously, Jason held several key roles at IU Ventures, including Chief Venture Officer and Executive Director of the IU Angel Network, contributing to the organization from November 2017 to February 2025. With a strong background in leadership and management, Jason has also held executive positions at the Richmond Innovation Center and the Center City Development Corporation. In addition, Jason was the Owner of Joe's Pizza and Controller at Miami Valley Truck & Trailer. Jason earned a Bachelor's degree in Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
