Christopher Tonniges

Christopher Tonniges serves as the President and CEO of Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Inc. since August 2021, where the organization focuses on providing quality human care services to enhance individual, family, and community well-being. Prior to this role, Christopher held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at FINTAINIUM from June 2022 to February 2025, overseeing corporate strategy and market alignment. Christopher has extensive experience in the financial sector, having served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at CIT, and in various roles at Mutual of Omaha Bank and First National Bank of Omaha, where responsibilities included managing treasury services and sales teams. Christopher holds an Executive MBA in Management and Leadership from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Augustana College.
