Toby Triebel is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in digital investment and venture capital. Currently serving as a Partner at FinTech Collective since March 2023, Toby leads European operations and investment activities from London, focusing on transforming financial systems. Previously, Toby was the Head of Digital Investing and a member of the Global Executive Board at Vontobel from 2020 to 2023, driving innovative wealth management solutions. As CEO of Europe and Head of International at Wealthsimple from 2016 to 2020, Toby contributed to managing over $20 billion for 2 million clients. Toby co-founded Spotcap Global and Finisterre Capital, held positions in financial restructuring at AlixPartners, and gained foundational experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Toby holds an M.Phil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics, and a Master of Business Research in Game Theory from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
