Cheryl Couture

Cheryl Couture has over 20 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on healthcare technology. Cheryl currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at nThrive, a role they have held since 2015. Prior to that, Cheryl worked at Allscripts as a Principal Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Cheryl also spent a significant portion of their career at GE Healthcare IT as a Software Architect from 2006 to 2012. In this role, they were responsible for technical design, coding, testing, and overall quality of development projects, as well as providing leadership and mentoring to team members. Earlier in their career, Cheryl worked at IDX Systems Corp as a Lead Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, they were involved in the full development cycle, including debugging and resolving customer reported issues.

Cheryl Couture earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Gordon College between 1992 and 1996.
