Shawn Thompson has extensive work experience in executive leadership roles within the electronics manufacturing industry. Shawn is currently the Vice President and General Manager at Firan Technology Group Corporation (FTG) since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at OSI Electronics from 2017 to 2020, where they served as the Vice President & General Manager Flex Business and later as the President. In these roles, they managed a $180M multi-site global electronics manufacturing division and led P&L management for critical applications in various markets. Shawn also played a key role in revenue generation through strategic partnerships and successful acquisitions. Before OSI Electronics, Shawn was the President and CEO of MC Electronics from 2013 to 2016. Shawn began their career at Smiths Group plc (Interconnect Division) in 1998, where they held the position of President/ General Manager. In this role, they had P&L and general management responsibilities for a global power technology group specializing in electronic components and sub-systems.

Shawn Thompson has pursued continuing education in various fields. Shawn attended the Stanford Continuing Studies - Executive Education Program, focusing on Organizational Leadership & Change Management, as well as High Performing Teams. Additionally, they undertook a program at Babson College that concentrated on Finance for Management Executives, specifically with Smiths Group PLC. Furthermore, Shawn Thompson studied Business Administration and Management, General at Northwest Nazarene University.

The FTG Circuits is a manufacturer of technology printed circuit boards. Its product offering includes engineering services, Microvia technology, buried capacitance, cavity boards, metal core constructions, multiple sequential laminations, differential and controlled impedance, embedded filters and inductors, buried resistor layers, back drilling and back planes. It serves customers in aviation, defense and other technology industries.
