Kyle Watkins

Kyle Watkins is an accomplished aerospace professional with experience in project management and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Mission Manager at Firefly Aerospace since June 2021, Kyle has previously contributed as an Aerospace Engineering Intern. Prior to that, a Researcher at the Florida Institute of Technology ORION Laboratory from August 2019 to June 2021, Kyle focused on Guidance, Navigation, and Control Systems research and development. Additionally, an Engineering and Science Technical Intern at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in the summer of 2019, responsibilities included construction site inspection and daily activity reporting on a highway interchange redesign. Kyle holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Astronautical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, earned in 2021.
