Lin Qiao

Lin Qiao is the CEO and cofounder of Fireworks AI, a position held since October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Director of Engineering at Meta from July 2015 to September 2022, where leadership extended over 300 engineers in developing AI frameworks and platforms, notably Caffe2 and PyTorch. Prior to that, Lin Qiao held roles at LinkedIn, including Tech Lead/Manager and Staff Software Engineer, focusing on data lifecycle management and distributed data serving. Lin Qiao's career began at IBM, with roles as Research Staff Member and Advisory Software Engineer, contributing to projects in data processing and monitoring systems. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and both BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Fudan University.
