John Roehm

John Roehm is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications and public relations within the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Internal Communications at First Citizens Bank since March 2023, following the acquisition of Silicon Valley Bank, Roehm previously held a similar role at Silicon Valley Bank from October 2018, where responsibilities included supporting the Commercial Banking division. Prior experience includes positions as Head of Communications at Hortonworks, Vice President of Public Relations and Internal Communications at Wells Fargo, and Vice President of Media Relations at Bank of America. Roehm began their career as a Media Relations Specialist and Financial Writer at Invesco Ltd. Additionally, Roehm holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Vanderbilt University.
