Kurt Woods

Kurt Woods has over a decade of experience in information technology and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Security and Automation at First Column IT since August 2010, Kurt is responsible for server and workstation maintenance, as well as network health maintenance. Additionally, Kurt held the position of Council Member for the Town of Haymarket from July 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities included drafting and approving policy and budget while interfacing with town stakeholders. Prior experience includes being a HeartSong Team Member at Cedarville University, where Kurt focused on live audio engineering and university admissions, and an intern at Evangelical Baptist Missions, Inc. managing database updates and application usability. Kurt's career began with a role in a mowing crew at The Brickman Group. Kurt holds a BA in Information Systems from Cedarville University, earned in 2010.
