Ed Giordano

Edward Giordano is chief financial officer of First Eagle Alternative Credit. Prior to joining First Eagle in September 2021, Ed worked for Metropolitan Partners Group, where he was responsible for managing all finance, accounting, operations, valuation, capital markets, treasury, tax and IT functions and systems. Previously, he was chief financial officer of H.I.G. Capital’s credit platform, driving structuring and valuation processes for multiple asset types including broadly syndicated loans, private credit and middle market leveraged buyouts. Ed was also chief accounting officer at Black Diamond Capital Management and a senior manager in Ernst & Young’s (and previously Arthur Andersen’s) transaction advisory services practice, leading teams providing financial, tax and human capital due diligence services to large private equity and strategic buyers. Ed earned a BS in accounting from Villanova University.
