Kristin Swenson

Kristin Swenson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in renewable energy and project development. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer and Founder at First Mile Development, Kristin focuses on early-stage renewables development in the US with a dedicated team that boasts over 100 years of combined experience. Previous roles include Principal Advisor for Market Design at Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Renewable Energy Consultant at ReGenerate Consulting, and Business Manager for Asset Management at Liberty Power, where Kristin managed financial and legal aspects of a diverse portfolio of power generation assets. Kristin also held multiple positions at Siemens Gamesa, contributing to the management of significant wind energy projects, as well as foundational roles in accounting at ConAgra Foods and Carlson Marketing Group. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Metro State University.
