Daniel Russell IV, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background in commodity trading, risk analysis, and portfolio management. Currently serving as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at First New York since September 2019, Daniel specializes in trading various oil products and developing option models using Python and VBA. Prior positions include Risk Analyst at First New York Capital Holding, where Daniel created automated tools for portfolio analytics and led credit risk meetings. Experience also encompasses roles at ProShare Advisors, Cambridge Associates, JP Morgan Chase, and various internships, with a strong emphasis on building applications and conducting risk analysis across multiple asset classes. Daniel co-founded a non-profit organization focused on consumer credit education and is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Finance.
