Byron Jeffers has a strong background in finance and accounting, with their most recent role being Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at First Solar since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as Vice President of Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer from April 2019 to September 2020, and as a Senior Director of Finance from May 2017 to April 2019. Byron also held positions as Director of Revenue & Technical Accounting from January 2015 to May 2017 and as a Senior Manager of Revenue & Technical Accounting from August 2012 to December 2014, all within First Solar. Before joining First Solar, they worked as a Financial Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from June 2005 to August 2012, where they managed audit engagements for various private and public clients.
Byron Jeffers completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management in 2004. In 2005, they pursued a Master of Accountancy degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona.
