Zachary Tranter

Zachary Tranter, CMP, is an experienced event management professional currently serving as Team Lead at FIRST since December 2022. Previously, Zachary held roles such as Head of Projects & Operations in the US at Cheerful Twentyfirst, where operations were optimized for growth, and Project Director, overseeing project teams for significant projects. Earlier experience includes Senior Project Manager at Unicorn Events Ltd, managing multi-currency event budgets, and Events and Visits Officer at the Consulate General of Canada in New York, where Zachary oversaw over 400 events annually. Zachary’s career includes a Project Manager role at BCD Meetings & Events, producing numerous international corporate events, alongside earlier positions in various hospitality and event roles starting from 2006. Zachary holds a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Industry Studies with a focus on Brand Strategy from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida.
