Kelly Preston has over 25 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits and wellness management, strategic planning, budget monitoring, plan development and design, cost control, compliance, open enrollment, communications, immigration, compensation, benefits, staffing and recruiting, and employee relations. Kelly has held senior positions at FirstBank Southwest, Safran USA, Provenance Consulting, LLC, and B&W Pantex, where they were responsible for various HR functions such as directing human resources departments, managing operations, implementing strategies and programs, providing advice and counsel to management, and leading benefit program selection and implementation. Kelly also has experience in recruitment, negotiating salary offers, and administration of salary planning and variable pay allocation. Kelly began their career as an HR Coordinator at Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Kelly Preston attended West Texas A&M University from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Kelly then continued their education at the same institution from 2005 to 2009, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in the same field of study. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained certifications such as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in November 2015, and the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in June 2015. Kelly is also listed as having obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute.
