Amitava Saha

Amitava Saha is the Co-Founder and COO at FirstCry.com. Amitava has over 20 years of experience in the technology and software industry. Prior to joining FirstCry.com, Amitava was the Director at Brainvisa (UK) Limited. Amitava has also worked with Aricent (erstwhile Future Software) and NIIT Technologies. At Tata Steel / TISCO, Amitava was responsible for marketing, strategy and sales team planning for Asia Pac reporting to Sr. Vice President. Amitava was a key member of the team engaged in negotiation for setting up a software development facility in China. The job role also involved budgeting and financial control for the Asia Pacific operations.

Amitava Saha has a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow, where they specialized in marketing and information systems. Prior to that, they completed a B.Tech in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. Amitava also attended Birla High School and Jadavpur University.
