Mike Hajoway

Mike Hajoway has extensive experience in IT leadership, currently serving as Director of Infrastructure, End User Services, and IT Planning at FirstEnergy since July 2006. Mike has a solid background in managing hybrid cloud infrastructure, developing cloud governance principles, and overseeing enterprise implementations of Microsoft cloud technologies. Prior roles include Manager of IT Systems & Cloud, where Mike supervised critical infrastructure operations, managed multi-million dollar budgets, and ensured compliance with regulatory audits. Mike's earlier positions involved leading UNIX, Linux, and DBA teams while coordinating large-scale server architectures and strategic technology initiatives. Mike holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Organizational Development from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BBA in Finance and Management Information Systems from Ohio University.
