Shannon Cian

Shannon Cian is an experienced professional in development and philanthropy, currently serving as the Director of Development at FirstLine Schools since March 2023. Previously, Shannon held the position of Philanthropy & Community Partnerships Director at the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools from November 2018 to January 2023, where accomplishments included growing partner membership over 150% and managing donor relations. Earlier roles included Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, Grants Manager at The National World War II Museum, and Community Development Specialist at ASI Federal Credit Union, where significant funding was secured for anti-poverty initiatives. Shannon holds a BA in English with a focus on Creative Writing from Rhodes College and has experience in community outreach and program coordination.
