As Vice President of Finance, Ken Tomek oversees global business planning, financial performance, reporting and financial systems for FirstService Residential. Working with the company’s six regional teams, his responsibilities include delivering and supporting capabilities that improve business processes, internal external reporting and controls, acquisition integration, data mining for analytical insights and enhancing performance across all aspects of FirstService Residential corporate finance.
Tomek joined FirstService Residential in 2020 after successful tenures at some of South Florida's premier companies, including Office Depot and AutoNation. He is experienced in leading cross-functional teams in developing corporate and field-level strategies to improve profitability. With a talent for mastering both financial / accounting and operational issues, Tomek is adept at handling competing priorities.
About as native as South Floridians can be, Tomek is an alumnus of both Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and Nova Southeastern University in Davie. He lives in Parkland with his family and loves to golf in his free time.
