Todd Aman

Todd is FiscalNote’s Vice President, Associate General Counsel, & Assistant Secretary. He brings to the company over 10 years’ experience in providing legal and strategic advice to public and private company clients on securities law matters, corporate governance, corporate financing transactions, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, tax-driven reorganizations, and other strategic transactions. His practice also includes advising the company on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters.

Before joining FiscalNote, Todd was Associate General Counsel – Corporate & Securities and Assistant Secretary for FLIR Systems, Inc., a publicly-traded international sensor technology company. Prior to joining FLIR, Todd served as Assistant General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Gannett Co., Inc., a publicly-traded media and marketing solutions company, through its acquisition in 2019. Before then, Todd was a senior associate in the SEC Advisory and Capital Markets practice groups at Hogan Lovells US LLP.

Todd holds a J.D., magna cum laude, and an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation, with distinction, from the Georgetown University Law Center, as well as a B.A. in Political Theory and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia.
